Our success takes root in the communities around the world that grow our cocoa beans. We fulfill our responsibility to support these farmers through our many sustainability programs. To date, 80,000 farmers have participated in our sustainability programs. Blommer is committed to our sustainability initiatives to protect the environment in which our cocoa beans grow and empower the farmers who grow them.

Our Research & Development team uses a hands-on approach to collaborate with our customers and help them be the best in their industry. This includes innovative product offerings – from specialty cocoas and our premium chocolate line to custom products tailored to our customers’ needs.
We create innovations that are relevant to our customers by responding to their needs and keeping up with industry trends. Among many other innovations is our recently created Wonder Line™, a line of confectionary coatings which contain 55% less fat than standard coatings without sacrificing flavor. This line was created in response to consumers wanting to be able to indulge without the extra calories.

As the largest cocoa processor and ingredient chocolate supplier in North America, our goal is to support farmers to keep pace with market demand and ensure their economic viability for generations to come. To date, 80,000 farmers have participated in our sustainability programs, which adhere to the International Labor Standards. Blommer maintains a long-term view while focusing on three keys of sustainability: people, planet, and prosperity.
Ontario Canada plant location Blommer’s Sustainable Origins™ program is focused on cocoa growing communities with the aim to enhance overall living conditions and provide tools and training to farmers. Through improved farm productivity and cocoa bean quality, farmers generate increased income which supports the creation of thriving cocoa communities.
Safeguarding the environment and preserving the planet for future generations is imperative. This is a global commitment that customers and producers entrust us to uphold. To this end, Blommer advocates for responsible environmental stewardship by providing training to farmers on agricultural practices which conserve soil and water to protect fragile tropical ecosystems.
